Currently there is only two programs you can download (Multiple Tray Ping & TraceRoute) please feel free to try them and send me your comments. I am also working on a new enhanced version of TrayPing which will include traceroute and many more configurable options you have asked for. The program will also be split into two programs and renamed to PowerPing Lite and PowerPing Pro.

The Pro version will incorporate traceroute, logging, user defined icons options, running of an executable program depending on the connection status. There will also be many more configurable options aimed towards administration. The Lite version will be the current Multiple Tray Ping with a few minor changes. If time permits there will be a further version which will run as a background service from the control panel and will allow continuous logging to either a text file or a database.

Do you need to monitor multiple servers and have a quick visual indication of their status. Do you need to keep active a connection between your machine and a remote server either on your local network or internet while you work. Well then Multiple Tray Ping is for you!

Multiple Tray Ping is a easy to use ping monitoring program for Windows NT and Windows 9x*. It allows you to test the response of a remote hosts at set intervals using ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol).

You can have multiple pings active at the same time and their status is indicated by a traffic light icon in the system tray. Each host can be configured to have it's own settings specifying ping frequency, ip address, packet SIZE and timeout etc.

*Early versions of Windows 95 may require winsock (networking bolt on) from Microsoft.

TraceRoute 1.01 - Freeware

This is a simple trace route program to determine the route taken to a destination by sending ICMP echo packets with varying time-to-live (TTL) values to the destination.
